Welding Line RS 50

  • Meant for production of precision calibrated tubes by means of high-frequency welding
  • The tubes are suitable both for common constructional use and special applications (furniture industry, heating industry ...)
  • Control of welding process is continuously checked by a defectoscope

Working capacity and possibilities

  • Tube diameter 12-50 mm
  • Wall thickness 0,8-2,5 mm
  • Tube length 3,5-8 m
  • Max. production speed 100 m/min

Produced shapes of tubes

Input strip

  • Longitudinally split steel tape of common quality is used as an input strip

Final product

  • Tubes of exact dimensions and shapes, usually packed into a hexagonal faggot that is suitable for further handling

  • Welding line is installed on the area of 65 x 10 metres
  • Welding line is of longitudinal arrangement, it allows a continuous production of tubes
  • The line is operated by six workers

Production principle of welded tubes

  • The input steel strip is formed into a circular cross-section in the moulding order
  • It is followed by a high frequency welding in a welding centre
  • After welding, the Tube is calibrated – it obtains precision geometric shape and dimension
  • It is followed by cross splitting to a required length by a power saw
  • Alingment and packing of tubes into nests is the final operation

Input device

  • Enables mounting of an input strip and its winding off into the butt welding centre

Butt welding centre

  • Ensures precision welding of begginnings and endings of individual input strips

Spiral feeder

  • Ensures sufficient quantity of the input strip for continuous and fast production of tubes

Moulding order

  • Round section of a future Tube is formed here by means of a forming rolls set

Welding centre, or HF generator

  • The moulded Tube is welded here via a high-frequency means

Calibration centre

  • The welded Tube obtains exact geometric shape and dimension here by means of a set of sizing rolls

Adjusting centre

  • Three adjusting heads ensure perfect straightness of all produced tubes

Cross splitting of tubes

  • Cross splitting to the required length is carried out by a high-power cantilever circular saw

  • Alingment and packing of tubes
  • Dispatch of tubes to customers
